Rules for Horses in Action
- Entrance fee $2.00 except where otherwise specified.
- All entrants must be members of thew Coonalpyn & District A. & H.
Society Inc.
- All exhibits must be ready to enter the ring when requested by Stewards.
- All nominations to be paid for before competitors enter the ring.
- All horses must be nominated by bonafide owner, and where entries are in
partnership correct initials must be given on entry.
- Any person guilty of improper practice will be liable to
disqualification.
- Stallions will not be allowed to compete in harness or hack classes, but
can compete in jumping events.
- Disputes committee - President or Secretary of any club or society shall
have the right to call five or more Association delegates together to settle
any dispute that may arise.
- Judges are empowered to withhold prizes in any class where they consider
exhibits unworthy, and may award second prize instead of first prize.
- Winners of pairs are not eligible for consolation events.
- Judge's decision is final.
- Any owner guilty of corrupt practice shall be disqualified by the
Association.
- Riding attire to be worn by contestants in horse events where possible
including riding hats.
- Persons competing in any event to do so at their own risk.
- Protests to be in the hands of Secretary 10 minutes, after event
accompanied with the fee of $10, which will be forfeited if protest is not
upheld.
- The committee reserves the right to make any alterations they deem
necessary.
- The committee reserves the right to cancel any event on the programme.
